HOL Guard

Coding agents move fast, and one bad command or package install can land before you notice. HOL Guard sits on your own machine beside Claude Code, Codex and Cursor and acts as a checkpoint: risky shell commands, secret file reads, MCP tool calls and package installs wait for you to approve or block them. The local tool is free and open source (Apache-2.0); Guard Cloud is an optional paid add-on. Get started with: pipx install hol-guard && hol-guard init. Guard is not a gateway, not a network firewall and not a complete prompt-injection preventer, and a scan is not a safety guarantee. Maker: HOL.
