关于 Claude Code
Claude Code is Anthropic's coding agent. Instead of suggesting one line at a time, it takes a whole task (fix a bug, write tests, explain a repository, carry out a multi-day migration), plans it, asks clarifying questions, then reads files, edits code and runs commands while you steer and review.
Where you can use it
- Terminal: the original CLI, installed with a one-line script on macOS, Linux or Windows.
- Editors: VS Code and JetBrains extensions.
- Desktop, web and mobile: a desktop app, a web version, and iOS and Android apps.
- Team tools: GitHub and Slack integrations, so you can hand it work from an issue or a chat thread.
Recent features
As of October 2026, Anthropic's changelog highlights:
- Projects (September 2026): group related sessions and supervise several Claude agents at once in the desktop app.
- Auto mode by default (August 2026) on Pro, Max and Team plans, letting it work longer while still flagging risky commands.
- Self-hosted environments (public beta, August 2026): run sessions on your own infrastructure next to internal services.
- Artifacts (June 2026): preview work in progress as a live, shareable artifact.
Pricing
Claude Code is not sold on its own. It is included in Claude's paid plans: Pro ($20 a month, or $17 a month billed annually) for short sessions in small codebases, and Max plans for heavier daily use. Team and Enterprise plans are available, and usage limits apply on every plan.
Who it's for
Developers who want an agent to carry out real tasks across a codebase, not just autocomplete.
